Wow, what a crazy couple of days weather wise. For the first time in the 10 years I have worked in an elementary school, they sent the kids home half a day because it was too hot. That was yesterday. Today it was better and not so humid. We had a wicked storm last night and although many people lost power and received damage from falling trees, it did cool everything down!! Still haven't heard any new news on the adoption front. It is frustrating but I'm trying to carry on as normal!!

Hoping for PA

Well, We're hoping that we receive PA (pre-approval) this week. That will be the next step in our journey. Someone is trying to get us used to hot China weather. It's been in the 90s all weekend and tomorrow it's supposed to feel like 104!!!Ugh... I do not love the heat. Give me a cold crisp winter day any time!!!

Another driver in the family!

Egads!!!! My 16 year old son, David, just passed his driver's license test today. Even though I've been through it twice before it's so scary. It's not him I worry about, it's all the other crazy drivers. Everyone is in such a hurry these days. Oh well, he's a very responsible and cautious guy so I guess he will be fine. Now I will have even more gray hairs!!!

Waiting for PA

Come on PA!! I really want to receive this. It's China's first initial OK that maybe they will let Sierra be our daughter!!
